This paper is discussion on the methodological study of paragraph cognition. The established studies of paragraph have been achieved as aspects of rhetoric. It is raised as a problem with explanation of paragraph identity. And the limits are exposed to clarify a part and whole attribute of paragraph. For the purpose of it, this paper uses an each aspect of logic, grammar, and rhetoric. The studies realm of their have been foundation of a human language study. And they are become a methodological foundation which leads to various aspects of paragraph cognition. At an aspect of logic, there are a cognition of logical relation between paragraphs by tree diagram and logical a fixed type between paragraphs through discourse connection markers. At an aspect of grammar, there are a cognition of the inner paragraph cohesion by centering theory of between paragraphs. At an aspect of rhetoric, there are cognition of coherence between paragraphs and paragraphs integration by a summary.
