There were various terms about referred to laborer in Korea during the early twentieth century, and those had in common in one aspect, but also didn’t have in common specially in fields of work. On one hand, these had in common in terms that they were lower class in new social system. On the other hand, they were different from each other, particularly in relation to the types of occupations. This study aims at articulating the epistemic change factor about laborer by exploring terms of laborer and salary synonym, and the writer's character. For articulating those, it is necessary to grasp the meanings of laborer by locating them within the change of land & military system, the writer's character, and the working-class.
