초록

This study aims to present and analyze a basic vocabulary list for effective Chinese onomatopoeia(拟声词) education. Onomatopoeia can express the speaker’s emotions and feelings in a rich and lively way, and is used as a major means of expression in literary works. This suggests that systematic onomatopoeia education is necessary for smooth emotional exchange and communication with native Chinese speakers. However, onomatopoeia has not received much attention in Chinese as a foreign language education, and related research has not been actively developed. In this study, we propose a basic vocabulary list for teaching Chinese onomatopoeia. This is because it is necessary to solve the problem of what to teach first for the systematic teaching of Chinese onomatopoeia in the future. This study comprehensively analyzed representative Chinese education standards, the vocabulary lists of onomatopoeia for teaching proposed by previous studies, and the onomatopoeia in Chinese primary school textbooks. A total of 60 onomatopoeic vocabulary lists for teaching Chinese were proposed, and the characteristics of the proposed vocabulary lists were examined through form analysis and semantic analysis. We hope that this study will be useful for the future development of Chinese onomatopoeia education and research.
