Abstract
This paper conducted a study of Korea’s allocation of aid resources and selection of priority partner countries, which receive much more aid relative to other countries. Trade benefits are considered when Korea selects priority partner countries and allocates its aid resources. Development of natural resources and proximity to Korea increase the probability of becoming a priority partner country. In determining aid allocation, Korea tends to consider some factors that do not affect priority partner country selection. More aid is provided when the recipient country demonstrates its ability to make useofit.
