사회과 수행평가 과제의 적합성 분석과 개선 방향

본 연구는 학교 현장의 사회과 수행평가 과제의 내용이 참 평가 관점에 따라 적합하게 이루어지고 있는지를 검토하고 개선방향을 제시한 것이다. 이를 위해 교육과정평가원의 주도로 구축한 교수 학습 자료 중 전국의 시․ 도교육청 산하의 학교 현장에서 이루어지고 있는 수행평가 과제 142건의 내용을 참 평가 관점에서 분석하였다. 그 결과, 현행 사회과 수행평가 과제의 내용은 주로 교과의 내용에 편중되고 있으며 학교 밖의 가치를 지향하는 수행평가과제가 매우 희소함을 확인하였다. 그러나 그럼에도 불구하고 참 평가 관점에 따르는 사회참여보고서를 수행평가과제로 실시하는 교사가 있음을 발견하였다. 이 교사와의 면접을 통하여 실제 교실에서 참 평가가 이루어지는 맥락을 살펴보면서, 사회참여보고서 과제가 사회과 수행평가의 구체적인 대안이 될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이를 통하여 진정한 인간의 성취를 지향하는 구체적인 평가과제의 내용을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze that the current social studies performance tests is suitable in the light of authentic assessment and to present a reform measure. For this purpose, data was selected from 142 performance tests which were database in KICE(Korea Institute of Curriculum & Evaluation) and data was generated through the interview with one teacher who got in on and had practiced authentic assessment. Through the data analysis, it was found that current social studies performance was too much subject matter and authentic assessment was scarce aside from social participation report. Social participation report was a authentic assessment in that it was pointed to value beyond school. Therefore, when the reality of our classroom is considered, social participation report will be a practical remedy in our social studies classroom.
