본 논문은 맹자의 일치일란(一治一亂) 역사관 속에 보이는 재난에 대한 인식을 밝히고자 한다. 맹자는 인간 사회를 평화로운 시기(治)와 혼란의 시기(亂)가 한 번씩 번갈아 가면서 순환하는 것으로 이해한다. 2장에서는 요‧순 시대 홍수의 범람으로 인한 재난과 그 극복에 대해 다룰 것이다. 3장에서는 하나라와 은나라 시대의 사회․정치제도에 의한 재난에 대해 살펴볼 것이다. 4장에서는 춘추‧전국시대의 도덕적 혼란으로 비롯된 사회적 재난에 대해 밝힐 것이다. 맹자는 시대적 재난인 사회․정치적 혼란과 도덕적 혼란을 해결하기 위해 인의(仁義)와 인정(仁政)의 실현을 주장한다.
Abstract
This paper aims to reveal his perception of the disaster seen in the historical view of Mencius’ yīzhì-yīluàn(一治一亂). Through this, it will be revealed that securing a sense of responsibility and morality is important to overcome disasters. Mencius understands that human society is circulating alternately between peaceful and chaotic times. Chapter 2 will deal with disasters caused by flooding in the Yáo(堯)‧Shùn(舜) period, the period of the first coincidence, and overcoming them. Chapter 3 will look at the disasters caused by social and political systems during the xià(夏)‧yīn(殷) dynasties. Chapter 4 will reveal the social disasters caused by moral turmoil in The Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Mencius insists on the realization of humanity and moral politics to solve social and political confusion and moral confusion, which are the disasters of the times.
