교사교육과정의 개념적 이해와 개발을 위한 비판적 성찰: 교육과정 분권화와 자율화 강화 모색

초록

본 연구는 제6차 교육과정 이래 교육과정의 분권화와 자율화 정책이 지속되어 왔음에도 불구하고, 교사교육과정이 공식적인 이름으로 자리매김하지 못하고, 교사교육과정의 개발과 실천도 충분히 인정받지 못하며, 교사교육과정에 대한 체계적인 논의도 이루어지고 있지 않는 등 교사교육과정 개념에 대한 성찰과 재정립이 요구된다는 문제 인식에서 출발한다. 이에 본 연구는 문헌연구에 기초한 학계, 정책 당국, 현장 교사의 목소리를 통해 교사교육과정에 관한 인식과 정의 및 성격, 교사교육과정의 개발 방법과 내용, 교사교육과정의 연구 방법을 중심으로 교사교육과정을 비판적으로 성찰하고, 이를 통해 교사교육과정에 관한 공론의 장을 활성화하고 교사교육과정 개발과 실천 및 연구를 위한 방향을 제시하는 데 목적을 둔다. 비판적 성찰의 결과, 교사에 대한 믿음과 존중의 문화 조성, 교사교육과정의 존재에 대한 인정과 공론화, 과정 모형을 통해 만들어가는 교사교육과정의 개발, 성취기준의 성격과 구체화 수준에 대한 재조명, 학생들의 관심사와 쟁점중심의 교육과정 구성, 실행연구 역량 강화, ‘교사-학생교육과정’ 개념의 도입을 강조하고, 후속 연구 과제를 제시한다.

Abstract

This study starts with the recognition of the problem that the teacher curriculum is not established as an official name, the development and practice of the teacher curriculum is not fully recognized, and there is no systematic discussion of the teacher curriculum. In this sense, this study aims to critically reflect on the teacher curriculum, focusing on the perception, definition, and nature of the teacher curriculum, the development method and content of the teacher curriculum, and the research methods of the teacher curriculum, and to revitalize the public sphere on the teacher curriculum and suggest directions for teacher curriculum development, practice, and research. As a result of the study, some implications for the conceptual understanding and development of the teacher curriculum are provided, and suggestions regarding follow-up research tasks are also made.
