이 연구는 스포츠영재 육성에서 바람직한 부모 역할을 위한 부모교육 프로그램 필요성을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 그동안 스포츠영재 육성에서 부모 역할과 성과 그리고 부모교육에 대한 요구와 비전에 대한 연구들을 정리한 결과는다음과 같다. 첫째, 스포츠 부모교육 프로그램은 부모 지원을 강화하고 자녀의 적응을 촉진하는 효과를 기대할 수있다. 그러나 부모교육 프로그램을 설계하고 구현하는 데 필요한 학문적 논의는 부족하였다. 둘째, 스포츠 부모교육프로그램에서는 스포츠 생태계에 대한 거시적 다층적 구조 이해와 종목 특성을 포괄할 수 있는 스포츠 부모-자녀교육프로그램 콘텐츠 개발이 필요하다. 셋째, 부모교육 프로그램에서는 부모의 실천적 행동, 참여, 파트너십 영역에서부모의 역할 모델, 부모 코칭, 부모-코치 상호작용 등에 대한 실제적 지식 콘텐츠를 고려할 필요가 있다.
Abstract
This study aimed to explore the necessity of parental education programs in fostering sports talent. A review of literature on the roles of parents in nurturing sports talent and the demand for parental education reveals several key insights. Firstly, parental education programs can significantly enhance support from parents and aid in the adaptation of young athletes. However, there is a discernible need for more scholarly discourse to guide the design and implementation of these programs. Secondly, such programs should be developed to offer an in-depth understanding of the sports ecosystem's macroscopic, multi-layered structure. This involves creating content for parent-child education programs that are responsive to the unique characteristics of different sports. Lastly, it is crucial for parental education programs to incorporate practical knowledge focusing on the roles of parents. This includes fostering parental role models, effective parent coaching, and productive parent-coach interactions, specifically within the realms of practical parental behavior, active participation, and partnership.
