We investigate the concepts of control rights used in the literature of ownership-governance gaps in industrial managements, and introduce the game-theoretic definitions of control rights for the case of cross-ownership. Alienated from the traditional ad-hoc assumption of dominant-owner existence, we examine the control rights based on relative majority voting rules and induce the equilibrium control voting rights with the maximal control payoffs and with the minimal control costs, respectively. Finally, we propose possible ways to future study for the control rights based on absolute majority voting rules and the implications for Aviation Industry.
