초록

This paper is Wansik SONG’s New Dictionary of the Various Modern Terms(1927) review. We note some particular features of this dictionary. This dictionary is a language dictionary listed the terms of various fields. And only nouns, which are used commonly these days, are selected as the entry in this dictionary. This dictionary is a typical dictionary of the korean neologism in the first half of the 20th century. And this dictionary is a typical korean dictionary in the first half of the 20th century with Korean-Japanese Dictionary (Joseonchongtokbu, 1920), Korean-Korean Dictionary for Elementary School (Uilin Sim, 1925), Chinese character- Korean-Japenese Dictionar y(Kyeongseok Jeong, alts., 1928).

Abstract

This paper is Wansik SONG’s New Dictionary of the Various Modern Terms(1927) review. We note some particular features of this dictionary.
