『표준국어대사전』과 한글 맞춤법의 불일치 - 표제항과 활용형을 중심으로-

이 논문에서는 표제항과 활용형을 중심으로 ‘한글 맞춤법’과 표준국어대사전의 불일치 문제를 살핀 결과, 대략 7개 유형의 문제점을 찾고 그에 대한 대안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 규정에 빠진 예가 발견되므로 5항의 ‘다만’ 규정에 ‘ㄷ＋ 평음 연쇄’를 가진 단어가 포함되어야 한다. 둘째, 규정 설명과 사전의 품사가 일치하지 않는 경우가 있으므로 11항의 ‘붙임 4’가 삭제되어야 한다. 셋째, 사전의 직소 분석과 규범 해설의 설명이 불일치하는 경우가 있으므로 관련 해설이 수정될 필요가 있다. 넷째, 규범에 제시된 복합어의 구성소가 사전에 등재되지 않은 경우가 있으므로 미등재 구성소를 표제어로 추가할 것을 제안하였다. 다섯째, 단어나 구의 성격에 대해 규범과 사전의 설명이 다른 경우가 있으므로 준말 규정 33항을 수정할 것을 주장하였다. 여섯째, 규범에서 활용형의 발음을 설명하지 못하는 경우가 있으므로 이에 대한 수정이 필요하다. 일곱째, 규범의 활용형과 『표준국어대사전』의 활용형이 일치하지 않는 경우가 있으므로 38항의 활용 예는 수정되어야 한다. 이러한 연구 결과는 『표준국어대사전』의 내용 보완 내지 어문 규범 개정을 위한 기초 연구의 성격을 가질 수 있다.
Abstract
In this paper, as a result of examining the problem of inconsistency between ‘Hangul Spelling Rules’ and the ‘Standard Korean Dictionary’ focusing on entries and conjugations, the following seven facts were revealed. First, there are examples that exist in the dictionary but not in the regulations; second, there are cases where the description of the regulations and the part of speech in the dictionary do not match; third, there are cases where IC(immediate constituent) analysis in the dictionary and the description of the regulations do not match; and fourth, there are cases where the constituent elements of the compound words are not registered in the dictionary; fifth, there are cases where the norms and dictionary descriptions of abbreviations are different; sixth, there are cases where the norms do not explain the pronunciation of the conjugation; seventh, there are cases where the conjugation of the norm and the conjugation of the dictionary do not match.
