>본 연구는 소유구조가 연구개발비의 기업가치관련성에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소유경영자가 경영하는 기업의 개발비는 전문경영자가 지배하는 기업의 개발비보다 시장에서 낮게 평가되고 잇다. 둘째, 소유구조는 연구비의 기업가치관련성에 유의적인 영향을 미치지 못한다. 본 연구의 공헌은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구는 기업의 특성으로 소유구조를 도입하여 연구개발비의 기업가치관련성을 분석하였다. 둘째, 본 연구는 시차효과로 인한 교란항의 자기상관과 횡단면 자료의 분석시 나타나는 이분산의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 개별 횡단면자료의 특성과 연도별자료의 특성을 모두 고려한 패널자료를 이용하여 고정효과 모형과 임의효과 모형을 추정하였다.
Abstract
>This study examines the impact of ownership structure on the value relevance of R&D investment. Empirical analysis has been performed for non-banking firms(1,188 firm-years) listed over Korean Stock Exchange during 2002-2004. We use panel analysis considering individual cross-sectional features as well as yearly features. The evidence shows that ownership structure affects the value relevance of R&D assets. But there is no evidence that ownership structure affects the value relevance of R&D expenses.
