Abstract
The function has been improved by the development of artificial intelligence(AI) technology. AI is playing a bigger role in politics. In fact, AI plays an important role in the decision-making process. Furthermore, AI candidates’ candidacy in local elections is drawing renewed attention in terms of enhancing efficiency in local administration and budget execution. The purpose of this article is to discuss whether AI can be used as a means of governance. There are two different views that allow AI to participate in politics. The first is the view that recognizes AI as a means of governance. The second is to give AI the role of moral advisor. But they are opposed to recognizing the legal rights of future independent AI. Others object to the future recognition of legal rights of AI. The debate over the role of AI is polarized in two directions. AI can’t make the algorithms they need for their growth and activities. AI is a non-independent entity. But AI has the same role as humans. The role of AI may expand. It is necessary to pay attention to the role rather than the independence in the future.
