인문언어학과 빅데이터 -외국어 교육과 웹 활용의 가능성을 중심으로-
Big data and Humanistic studies in language -With a focus on foreign language education and the usage of the Web-

This thesis’goal is to use Humanistic Studies in Language as a base to examine how Big Data can be used effectively. To implement Humanistic Studies in Language one needs to secure a certain volume of materials with variable phenomenon and results and by doing this analyze and make conclusions based on this information. This has to be done without forgetting the importance of this process and the need to think about future challenges the subject holds. From this perspective one can say that Big Data is more than qualified as what Humanistic Studies in Language demands from “relevant”, high quality material. As a researcher I have tried to discuss the approach to Big Data in the field of Humanistic Studies in Language and also the generator and main dimension of Big Data as well as the concrete starting point for the discussion on the subject, the Web. I will discuss how the Web can be used in foreign language education and taking Korean and Japanese languages as examples tried to discuss methodological examples using three different cases: “research”, “collecting samples” and “interaction between the teacher and student”.
