한국어 한자어의 변천 고찰- 이음절 단일어를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 이음절 한자단일어가 한국어에 도입된 시기와 한국어 에서 사용되는 과정에서 나타난 특징과 변화를 고찰하였다. 한국 어에 도입된 이음절 한자단일어는 중국어 연면어의 면모를 유지 하면서도 국어의 어휘체계에 따라 변화하였다. 서로 다른 한자로 구성된 낱말이 국어사전에 함께 수록되어 있거나 낱말의 의미 요 소를 보충하기 위해 두 글자의 부수부분을 통일한 형태의 단어가 많은 점은 중국어 연면어의 특징을 유지한 면모라고 할 수 있다. 한편 한국어 어휘체계에서 활용할 수 있도록 단일어 어근에 ‘-(하 다)’ 접미사가 붙는 형태로 쓰는 단일어가 많다. 이러한 단일어의 변천과정에서 나타나는 특징으로 어근의 형태 변화, 형태소의 의 미 변화 등을 살펴볼 수 있다. 국어의 음운변동 현상이 적용되어 한자 어근의 발음이 변화한 경우가 있으며, 단어의 의미에 있어서 단일어와 합성어에 해당하는 쓰임을 모두 사용하거나 합성어의 의미만 남겨 쓰는 특징이 나타나기도 하였다. 특히 일부 단일어는 합성어에 준하는 구조로 의미를 분석하고 있어 이음절 한자단일 어의 속성이 왜곡될 수 있다.
Abstract
This study examines the time when the Sino-Korean simple words was introduced into the Korean language, and the characteristics and changes of those words while being used in the Korean language. The simple words written in Chinese characters introduced into the Korean language were changed according to the Korean lexical system while maintaining the aspect of the Chinese language. In terms of character, some words have another forms, and there are many words that unified the radical of two letters to supplement the semantic element. There are many simple words are written in the form of ‘-hada(하다)’ so that they can be used in Korean. And some phonological phenomena that occur in Korean are applied to the Sino-Korean simple words. In terms of the meaning, the meaning of simple words have changed in the Korean lexical system by accepting both uses of simple and compound words, in some cases only the meaning of the compound word remains. In particular, since some semantic analysis of simple word equivalent to compound words in the dictionary, it is possible to distort the characteristic of simple words.
