초록
본 연구는 보육시설 평가인증과정에서 제공되는 조력활동에 대한 평가를 실시하여 보육시설의 질 향상과 보육시설 종사자의 전문성 향상을 도모하기 위해, 조력활동평가척도를 개발, 적용하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 구체적인 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조력활동평가척도 시안을 개발한다. 둘째, 조력활동평가척도의 양호도를 알아본다. 셋째, 조력활동평가척도를 적용한다. 연구대상은 관련전문가인 델파이 패녈 27명과 1, 2차 예비조사 및 본 조사 대상인 보육시설장과 보육교사 308명, 적용기관의 시설장 및 보육교사 82명이었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서는 2개 평가영역, 5개 하위영역, 11개 평가항목, 77개 평가문항으로 구성된 조력활동평가척도를 개발하였다. 둘째, 조력활동평가척도는 신뢰도와 타당도가 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 조력활동평가척도를 적용한 결과 보육시설유형에 따라 조력활동평가에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study developed and then applied a valid and reliable ‘Assistance Program Evaluation Scale for the Evaluative Accreditation of Child Care Centers (APES). A draft of the APES was drawn up, rigorously scrutinized for its adequacy as an evaluation scale, and then applied. Participating subjects consisted of a panel of 27 experts and 390 child care center teachers from above 82 number of child care centers. The step by step results of the study are 1) the developed draft of the Assistance Program Evaluation Scale for Evaluative Accreditation of Child Care Centers, included two categories, 5 evaluation sectors, 11 evaluation items, and 77 evaluation questions; 2) the ensuing analysis for adequacy revealed that most of the evaluation questions were valid and reliable; and 3) when the scale was applied the total mean was 2.89, and significant differences were found to exist between public child care centers and private child care centers in terms of ‘assistance method sector’.
