본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육불안 측정도구를 개발하는 것으로 측정도구의 문항을 구성하고 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이론적 고찰, 포커스인터뷰, 반구조화 질문지를 통해 자료를 수집하여 구성개념을 도출하고 이를 토대로 기초문항을 작성하였으며 2차례에 걸친 내용타당도 검증, 사전검사, 예비조사 및 본조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육불안 측정도구는 어머니요인, 자녀요인, 배우자요인, 사회적 요인으로 구성된 상위 4요인에 하위 11요인 64문항으로 이루어졌으며 추출된 구성요인은 어머니요인에 ‘원가족경험에 따른 불안’, ‘양육책임감에 따른 불안’, ‘특질불안’, 자녀요인에 ‘자녀의 감정상태에 따른 불안’, ‘자녀의 소극적 행동에 따른 불안’, ‘자녀의 과잉행동에 따른 불안’, ‘자녀의 학업능력에 따른 불안’, 배우자요인으로 ‘남편의 소극적 양육참여에 따른 불안’, ‘남편의 존중감 결여행동에 따른 불안’, ‘남편의 부적절 양육행동에 따른 불안’, 사회적 요인으로 ‘사회적 지원여부에 따른 불안’이다. 개발된 도구는 확인적 요인분석과 수렴 및 변별 타당도 검증을 시행하였으며 공인타당도를 검증하여 타당도의 근거를 제시하였다. 도구의 문항내적일치도는 전체 Crobach's α 값이 .96이며, 하위요인별 신뢰도는 .83∼.94의 범위에 있어 안정적인 도구임을 확인하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발한 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육불안 측정도구는 신뢰도와 타당도가 적합한 것으로 검증되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop an instrument that can measure the level of parenting anxiety of mothers with children in early childhood by developing items and verifying their validity and reliability. Data was collected through theoretical review, focus interviews, and semi-structured questionnaires from which constructs were deduced and initial items were generated. Verifications of the content validity were conducted twice, followed by a pilot test, preliminary research and the main research. The study led to the development of an instrument measuring the level of parenting anxiety of mothers with children in early childhood that consists of 4 primary factors, 11 sub-factors, and 64 items. The deduced constructs for the mother factor were “anxiety regarding experience with the family of origin,” “anxiety regarding parenting responsibility,” and “trait anxiety”; for the child factor they were “anxiety regarding the child’s emotional state,” “anxiety regarding the child’s passive behavior,” “anxiety regarding the child’s hyperactivity,” and “anxiety regarding the child’s academic abilities”; for the spouse factor the constructs were “anxiety regarding the husband’s passive participation in parenting,” “anxiety regarding the husband’s behaviors lacking respect,” and “anxiety regarding the husband’s inappropriate parenting behaviors”; for the social factor the constructs were “anxiety based on whether or not there is social support.” Confirmatory factor analysis and the verification of convergent and discriminant validity were performed, followed by the verification of concurrent validity, all of which provided evidence for the validity of this approach. The level of inter-item consistency confirmed that the instrument was stable, with Crobach's α of the instrument as a whole being .96, and the levels of reliability of each sub-factor ranging from .83 to .94. In sum, the current study verified that the instrument developed in this study in order to measure the level of parenting anxiety of mothers with children in early childhood has appropriate reliability and validity.
