공립유치원 교사의 직무분석에 따른 교사의 인식 및 교사 지원 방안 탐색

본 연구는 DACUM 기법과 설문을 활용하여 공립유치원 교사의 직무를 분석하고, 직무에 대한 업무인식을 파악하여 교사지원 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 공립유치원 교사의 직무분석을 위해 2차에 걸친 데이컴워크숍을 실시하여 데이컴 차트를 완성하였다. 경기도 지역의 공립유치원 교사 225명을 대상으로 직무에 대한 인식을 설문조사 한 후 교사들의 구체적인 생각을 알아보기 위해 경기도 공립유치원 교사 13명을 대상으로 FGI를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 공립유치원 교사의 직무는 8개 영역으로 총 188개의 직무를 수행하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 공립유치원 교사들은 필수업무를 교육과정 운영, 교육과정 준비, 건강․보건․안전관리 교육평가 순으로 인식하였다. 전문성 신장과 행사 영역은 보조업무로, 행정사무 영역은 잡무로 인식하였다. 셋째, 공립유치원 교사들은 교사의 직무가 너무 많고 교육과 관련 없는 잡무가 포함되어 있어 이에 대한 교사의 부담을 줄일 수 있는 명확한 업무분장 제시를 요구하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 공립유치원 교사들의 공통 직무 기준을 위한 유치원 교사의 직무 법제화와 업무 특성에 최적화된 교직원 업무분장을 통해 공립유치원 교사가 필수업무인 교육에 더욱 집중할 수 있는 여건 마련이 필요함을 시사한다.
Abstract
This study aims to explore support strategies for public kindergarten teachers by analyzing their roles and job perceptions using the DACUM (Developing A Curriculum) method. To achieve this goal, two DACUM workshops were conducted, producing a DACUM chart. A survey was conducted with 225 public kindergarten teachers in Gyeonggi Province to assess their awareness of job-related tasks. Also, the FGI (Focus Group Interview) was conducted with 13 public kindergarten teachers to examine detailed perspectives. The findings of the study are as follows. First, public kindergarten teachers’ responsibilities encompassed eight main areas and 188 tasks. Second, teachers identified essential tasks in the following order: curriculum implementation, curriculum preparation, health and safety management, and educational assessment. Professional development and event planning were viewed as auxiliary, while administrative work was perceived as peripheral. Third, excessive workload was a concern, particularly tasks unrelated to direct educational activities, and requested a clear demarcation of responsibilities to prevent unrelated burdens. The results of this study suggest the need to standardize job framework for public kindergarten teachers and to implement task assignments that reflect specific job characteristics. This approach would enable public kindergarten teachers to concentrate more effectively on core educational duties.
