본 연구의 목적은 중학생의 공감 공동체 역량 증진을 위한 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 본 연구는 공감 공동체를 구축하기 위하여 첫째, 프로그램 개발을 위한 핵심 역량을 도출하였다. 둘째, 프로그램 개발을 위한 설계원리를 도출하였다. 셋째, 핵심역량과 설계원리에 기초하여 프로그램 초안을 개발하였다. 넷째, 프로그램의 내적 타당화를 위해 전문가 검토가 실시되었고, 프로그램의 1차 수정이 이루어졌다. 넷째, 프로그램의 외적 타당화를 위해 중학교 7개 학급을 대상으로 프로그램의 현장 적용이 실시되었고 이로부터 도출된 교사와 학생의 피드백을 통해 2차 수정 후 프로그램이 완성되었다. 최종 완성된 프로그램은 총 5개 모듈의 13차시로 구성되어있다. 5개의 모듈은 서로 독립적으로 구성되어 있으면서도 다른 모듈과 상호 연계되는 주제이므로 다양한 현장의 요구에 맞게 따로 또 같이 활용할 수 있다. 공감역량은 우리가 사회에 살아가면서 갖추어야 할 가장 핵심적이고도 기초적인 역량으로 분류되는 만큼, 청소년기에 공동체 내에서 공감역량을 적절히 학습할 수 있다면 이들이 보다 건강하고 행복하고 성공적인 삶을 살아갈 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop programs to enhance the empathetic community competency of middle school students. First, the core competences for program development were derived in order to establish a empathetic community. Second, the design principles for program development were derived. Third, the draft program was developed based on core competences and design principles. Fourth, expert reviews were conducted to justify the program internally, and the first revision of the program was made. Fifth, the program was applied on-site to seven classes in middle school for external validity of the program, and the program was completed after the second revision with feedback from teachers and students. The final completed program consists of 13 chapters of 5 modules. The five modules can be used separately and together to meet the needs of various sites. Since empathetic skills are the most fundamental skills that people should have in their society, if students can properly learn them in their school communities, they can lead healthier, happier, and successful lives.
