조직은 불확실성이 지배해 온 여러 가지 사회적 상황에서 인간이 효과적인 대응을 하기 위해 구축한 구조적 실체이다. 그리고 리더십 교육은 이 조직 내부에서 리더와 구성원이 원활한 기능을 이행하고, 갈등을 조율하면서 상생적 교환관계와 의사소통 체계를 형성할 수 있도록 돕는 관계적 시민역량의 함양을 위해서 필요하다. 본 연구는 대학교양교육 과정에 리더십 이론을 안정적으로 적용하기 위하여 리더십 연구 및 학습의 본질적 목표를 규명하고자 기술되었다. 구체적 연구내용으로는 학문 분과별로 분화된 리더십 교육의 이론적 원류를 현대사회학이론 체계 내에서 구조화하여 논의했다. 리더십 교육은 보편적 지식체계를 전달하는 대학교양교육 과정에서 불확실성의 상징적 확산에 대응함과 동시에 조직 내 상호 신뢰를 기반으로 한 인간관계를 정립할 수 있는 능력을 함양하는데 기여하게 된다. 또한 학습자의 입장에서는 연대적 가치를 공유하는 상호작용의 질서를 인식할 수 있게 된다. 이제는 조직 내 관계적 시민역량 강화를 위한 리더십 이론에 기반을 둔 대학교양교육 체계가 인간의 삶을 성찰하고, 환경적 상황을 주도적으로 해석할 수 있는 의미의 원천을 제공할 것이다.
Abstract
Organizations are structural entities established by humans to respond effectively to various social situations that have been dominated by uncertainty. Within these organizations, leadership education is necessary to foster relational civic competencies that help leaders and members perform their functions smoothly, reconcile conflicts, and form mutually beneficial exchange relationships and communication systems. This study aims to identify the essential goals of leadership research and learning in order to reliably apply leadership theories to the university liberal arts curriculum. Specifically, it discusses and structures the theoretical streams that underlie the meaning of leadership education, which has been differentiated across academic disciplines, within the framework of modern sociological theories. Leadership education in the university liberal arts curriculum that conveys universal systems of knowledge contributes to nurturing the ability to respond to the symbolic spread of uncertainty and to establish human relationships based on mutual trust within organizations. Furthermore, leadership education enables learners to reflect on the order of interactions in which they share solidarity values. Now, the university liberal arts education system based on leadership theories to strengthen relational civic competencies within organizations will provide a source of meaning that enables individuals to reflect on their lives and proactively interpret environmental situations.
