초등학교 3, 4학년 음악교과서에 수록된 창작활동 유형 분석

Abstract

This study explores how creative learning activities are organized in third and fourth grade elementary school music textbooks published in 2018 based on the fact that creative learning contributes to children 's musical creativity and musical thinking ability. This research focuses on the studies as follows: first, to explore the types of creative activities presented in the third and fourth grade elementary school music textbooks published by a total of eight textbook publishing companies; second, to examine the frequency of each type of the creative activities; and third, to provide interpretation of the analysis results. The results of the frequency analysis reveal, that the making of song lyrics is accounted for the highest portion of the types of creative activities. Next, creation of rhythms, making of Jangdan, sound expression and scene/story music making follow in the order of high frequency of the types of creative activities. Textbooks with the most diversified types of creative activities and the largest portion of creative learning activities are those published by Dong-A Publishing Company. This study recommends that the more diversified types of creative learning activities are needed in order to contribute to children's creative thinking.
