본 연구는 2022 개정 음악과 교육과정의 창작 영역이 중학교 음악 교과서에 어떻게 반영되었는지를, 창작 유형을 포함하여 핵심 아이디어, 성취기준, 그리고 평가 방향을 중심으로 탐색하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 2022 개정 음악과 교육과정의 창작 영역의 주요 내용을 고찰한 후, 중학교 음악 교과서 14종(28권)에 수록된 창작 활동 237개를 본 연구에서 설정한 분석 기준에 따라 분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 실생활 및 타 교과와 연계된 성취기준에 해당하는 활동이 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 둘째, 핵심 아이디어는‘원리’측면과 연계된 활동의 비율이 가장 높게 나타났으며‘맥락’과‘활용’측면의 활동은 상대적으로 낮았다. 셋째, 창작 활동의 유형에서는 음악 내적 요소 중심의 창작이 음악 외적 요소 창작이나 융복합형 창작 활동보다 더 많이 나타났다. 넷째, 음악 요소는 가락과 리듬 중심의 편중된 경향이 있었으며, 다섯째, 평가 문항은‘과정‧기능’중심에 치우쳐 있었다. 이러한 탐색 과정을 통해 중학교 음악 교과서 창작 활동을 다각도로 조망하고, 향후 수업 설계 시 실생활 맥락의 반영, 핵심 아이디어와의 연계, 균형 있는 음악 요소와 평가의 통합이 중요함을 강조하는 등 교육과정 실행 관점에서 시사점을 도출하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to explore how the creative domain of the 2022 Revised Music Curriculum is reflected in middle school music textbooks, focusing on aspects such as types of creative activities, core ideas, achievement standards, and evaluation approaches. To this end, the key contents of the creative domain in the 2022 curriculum were first examined, followed by an analysis of 237 creative activities extracted from 14 types (28 volumes) of middle school music textbooks, based on analytical criteria established by the researcher. The results are as follows: First, activities related to achievement standards that emphasize real-life connections and interdisciplinary integration were most frequently observed. Second, among the core ideas, the majority of activities were associated with the "principle" dimension, while fewer were linked to "context" or "application." Third, in terms of creative activity types, those centered on internal musical elements appeared more frequently than activities involving external or convergent elements. Fourth, musical elements tended to focus heavily on melody and rhythm. Fifth, evaluation items were predominantly concentrated on "process and skill." Through this comprehensive exploration, the study offers a multifaceted view of creative activities in middle school music textbooks and emphasizes the importance of incorporating real-life contexts, aligning with core ideas, and achieving balanced integration of musical elements and evaluation in future curriculum implementation and instructional design.
