본 연구의 목적은 COVID-19 팬데믹 기간인 2020년도 1학기~2021년도 1학기 동안 한국의 초등학교에서 이루어진 온라인 원격 음악수업의 실태와 초등교사들의 테크놀로지 교수내용지 식(TPACK)에 대한 인식을 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 온라인 설문조사 플랫폼인 구글폼을 이용하여 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 설문에 응답한 초등교사 총 261명 중 원격 음악수업을 하였다고 응답한 176명의 교사(67.4%)의 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 65% 이상의 많 은 초등교사들이 팬데믹 기간 동안 온라인 원격 음악수업의 준비에 어려움을 느꼈으나 성별, 교직 경력, 음악 전담 여부에 따라 어려움의 인식 차는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 온라인으로 제공한 음악 학습 영역에 대해서는 감상을 주로 많이 가르치고 창작을 가장 적게 가르치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등교사들이 테크놀로지 교수내용지식(TPACK)에 대해 높 은 수준의 자신감을 보이고 있었으나, 온라인 원격 음악수업 준비 난이도 인식과 테크놀로지 교수내용지식(TPACK)의 하위 요인들 간의 상관관계는 그리 높지 않은 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the status of online remote music classes held in elementary schools in Korea during the COVID-19 pandemic, from the first semester of 2020 to the first semester of 2021, and elementary school teachers' perceptions of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). A survey was conducted using an online survey platform, Google Form, and the data of 176 teachers (67.4%) who answered that they had remote music classes out of a total of 261 elementary school teachers who responded to the survey were analyzed. The results are as follows. First, more than 65% of elementary school teachers had difficulty in preparing for online remote music classes during the pandemic, but the difference in perception of difficulties was not statistically significant depending on gender, teaching experience, and whether they are in charge of teaching music. Second, it was found that music appreciation was taught the most and making music was taught the least for music learning activities provided online. Lastly, although they showed a high level of confidence in TPACK, the correlation between the degree of difficulty in preparing for online remote music class and sub-factors of TPACK was not very high.
