본 연구는 유아의 놀이를 이해하고자 하는 유치원 교사의 관찰기록 경험을 드러내고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 자기연구의 방법으로 2023년 4월부터 7월까지 자기 면담 기록지, 연구자 성찰일지, 비판적 동료와의 대화 기록지, 놀이관찰기록지(현장노트, 동영상 및 녹음, 사진)를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구 결과 놀이 이해를 위한 관찰기록 경험은 ‘놀이의 가치 찾아가기’, ‘생성의 관찰기록으로 변화되기’, ‘회절하며 조금씩 나아가기’로 범주화되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 관찰기록 경험은 유아 놀이를 객관적으로 기록한 후 교사의 주관적 편견에 맞서며 지속적으로 상호작용하는 과정임을 밝힌다. 따라서 본 연구는 편견 없이 놀이를 이해하고자 하는 교사들에게 관찰기록 실천의 사례로 도움이 될 것이라고 사료된다.
Abstract
This study seeks to reveal the experience of observation records of kindergarten teachers who want to understand children's play. To this end, from April to July 2023, self-interview records, researcher reflection diaries, conversation records with critical colleagues, and play observation records (field notes, videos and recordings, photos) were collected and analyzed as a method of self-study. The experience of observation records for understanding play was categorized into “finding the value of play”, “generating observation records”, and “reflecting and moving forward incrementally”. These results revealed that the experience of observation records is a process of objectively recording infant play and then continuing to interact against the subjective prejudice of teachers. Therefore, this study will be helpful as an example of practice of observation records for teachers who want to understand play without prejudice.
