다문화가정 청소년의 학교폭력 피해에 관한 종단 연구: 부모/청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 사회적 지지를 중심으로

이 연구는 다문화가정 부모의 문화적응 스트레스가 자녀의 문화적응 스트레스와 사회적 지지를 통해 학교폭력 피해에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 다문화가정 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 학교폭력 피해 간의 동시효과와 교차 지연효과를 분석하여, 궁극적으로, 다문화가정 청소년의 학교폭력 피해 실태를 파악하고 예방하기 위해서 수행되었다. 연구를 위해, 한국청소년정책연구원에서 수집한 다문화청소년 패널조사의 2기 패널 자료를 사용하여 구조방정식 모델(SEM)과 회귀 모델을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 1차 연도 부모의 문화적응 스트레스가 2차 연도 청소년의 학교폭력 피해에 직접적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았지만, 2차 연도 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 사회적 지지에 완전히 매개되어 학교폭력 피해에 간접적으로 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스와 학교폭력 피해 간의 유의미한 동시효과가 파악되었다. 따라서 다문화가정 청소년의 학교폭력 피해를 예방하고 방지하기 위해서 피해 청소년의 문화적응 스트레스를 감소시킬 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 후속 연구에 대한 제안 등을 서술하였다.

Abstract

The current study aims to explore the impact of the acculturative stress of parents on bullying victimization among adolescents in multicultural families, through acculturative stress of adolescents and social supports. This study also aims to explore the contemporaneous effect and cross-lagged effects between acculturative stress of adolescents and bullying victimization. Using the data drawn from the first and second years of the Second Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS 2), SEM and regression models were utilized. The results of SEM show that the acculturative stress of parents is not directly related to bullying victimization, but the impact of acculturative stress on bullying victimization was mediated by acculturative stress of adolescents and social supports, separately. Significant contemporaneous effects were found between acculturative stress and bullying victimization, but cross-lagged effects. Results suggest new strategies to reduce school bullying for adolescents in multicultural families. The implications and limitations of this study are discussed.
