책은 글자로 기록하여 일정한 목적으로 쓴 글이나 참고 자료 등을 말한다. 본 연구는 글로 읽혀지는 정보 속에 들어있는 색을 연상하여 시각화하는 과정을 통해서 객관적인 색을 활용할 수 있도록 계획되었다. 글자로 인쇄되어진 것은 정보의 전달을 목적으로 다양한 스토리를 전달하고 있다. 사람들은 글을 읽으면서 상황을 연상하고 이미지를 떠올리게 된다. 연상되는 이미지를 머릿 속의 상상에서만 그치는 것이 아니라 색으로 보여 지는 표현으로 글자에 담겨진 상징성을 시각화시키는 작업을 통해 글과 이미지의 연관성을 모색해볼 수 있다. 색은 보는 사람들에게 각기 다른 이미지를 전달한다. 색을 받아들이는 사람의 문화적인 차이나 개인의 감정에 따라서 다양한 이미지로 전달이 된다. 본 연구에서 접근되는 색의 관점은 주관적인 색의 입장이 아니라 모두가 공감할 수 있는 색의 객관적인 이미지를 찾아가면서 색이 가지고 있는 보편적인 상징성을 스토리의 키워드를 통해 시각화 시키고 있다. 본 연구에서는 스토리를 읽고 대표적인 키워드를 추출하여 이미지에 어울리는 객관적인 색의 표현을 통해 글에서 이미지를 연상하는 과정을 단계적으로 제시한다. 객관적인 색의 표현이 가능하도록 색에 대한 일반적인 상징성에 대해 이해하고 실습지를 통해 적용하면서 글에 대한 색의 이미지를 연상할 수 있는 기능을 높일 수 있도록 계획하고 있다. 주관적인 색의 표현은 자유롭지만 색의 객관적인 실습을 위해서는 색이 가지고 있는 속성을 먼저 이해하고 보편적으로 공감되는 색의 표현을 통해 객관적인 색에 대한 관점을 가질 수 있게 된다. 본 연구는 글을 통해 정보의 습득에서 그치는 것이 아니라 키워드를 추출하고 색을 연상하는 과정을 통해 읽혀지는 글의 시각화 작업으로 객관적인 색의 이해와 활용에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
A book means words or reference materials written for the purpose of a definite object after being written down in letters. This study was designed to train the ability which it is possible to express in colors after thinking about the image, together with the function to read the information through the training to be able to express it after thinking about a color included in the information which was read in writing. What printed in letters conveys various stories for the purpose of information conveyance. While reading writings, people will think about the situation and recall the image. It is possible to explore the connection between writings and the image through visualizing the symbolism included in the letters by the expression displayed in colors as well as imagining the reminded image in your head. The color perspective approached in this study visualizes through the keyword of the story the universal symbolism included in the color with looking for the objective image of the color with which everyone expresses sympathy. This study presents in stages the process to think about the image in writings through the objective expression of the color to match with the image by extracting the representative keyword after reading a story. This study will be able to make a contribution to the objective understanding and application of colors by the visualization of the writings read through the processes to extract the keyword and to think out colors.
