공공환경 디자인에서의 Color Address적 개념에 관한 연구

Abstract

The symbolism and learned concept of color recognized universally can be importantly utilized in information visualization. Accordingly, this thesis aims to study a method for composition of efficient and rational environment color based on the visuality of information of color. For this, the research considers the properties of information-transfer of the color and studies a method that can apply this to space. The this study defines a new concept called color address and arranges its properties through this. The color address can be applied to indoor space as well as urban space as a new concept of color-information that has a characteristics and directionality of a clue for direction of a place. The color address can be expressed as a hue, brightness and saturation, which are attributes of color. Especially, if it is considered with local color that an environmental property was reflected, it can be functioned as a new information transfer system. It is expected that this could prepare new color indicators for formation of a new public environment that is being actively progressed recently, in addition to the existing public space's environmental improvement.
