COVID-19로 인한 팬데믹으로 전 세계의 교육계가 온라인 수업을 해야만 하는 상황에 직면했다. 이전에도 이론 교과의 사이버 강의는 종종 있어왔기에 교육자와 학습자 모두 아주 낯설지는 않다. 하지만 전통적 방식의 대면 수업으로 진행되던 예술 실기 교육은 본격적인 온라인 교육에 대비가 되어 있진 않았던 것이 사실이다. 본 논문에서는 대학교의 카메라 연기 교과 이론·실습수업을 온라인상에서도 진행할 수 있도록 콘텐츠를 개발해서 커리큘럼을 구성하고 어떠한 방식의 수업을 지향할 것인지 연구하였다. 지난 1년간의 온라인 카메라 연기 수업을 바탕으로 이후의 학습 자료로 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 수업 방식으로는 Blended learning의 일종인 Flipped Learning이 대안으로 제시되었다. 학습자들이 수업 전 미리 녹화본을 통한 혹은 과제로 제시된 학습을 미리 하고난 후에 실시간 화상 강의에 참여하여 토론 및 실습 활동을 하는 것이다. 팬데믹이 종식되어도 온라인의 장점을 경험한 학습자들은 대면과 비대면의 혼합된 형태인 Blended learning 수업을 지향할 가능성이 있다. 교수자들도 이에 대비하여 점차 발전된 형태의 온라인 교육을 학습자에게 제공할 수 있도록 지속적인 노력을 해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the education systems around the world are facing the need for online classes. There have been frequent online lectures for theoretical classes before, so neither professors nor students are very unfamiliar in the universites. However, it is true that the practical art education, which used to be a traditional face-to-face class, was not prepared for full-fledged online education. In this paper, practical classes for camera acting courses at the university were studied for online education. The researcher developed acting class content and thought about what methodology to teach and conducted various acting classes with students. As an alternative, Flipped Learning, a kind of Blended Learning, was suggested for the teaching method. It is for students to participate in real-time video lectures and engage in discussion and practical activities after pre-recorded or task-presented learning before class. Even after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, students who have experienced the advantages of online are likely to aim for Blended Learning classes, a mix of face-to-face and online education. Professors should also make continuous efforts to provide their students with an increasingly advanced methods of online education. This paper will then be available as a reference for online camera acting classes.
