기독교는 그동안 선교신학이나, 선교 리더십 그리고 선교적 교회개척에대한 논의를 계속해왔다. 그러나 선교적 설교에 대한 논의는 그렇게 많이논의된 것은 아닌 것으로 보인다. 현대인들은 그 믿음을 가지고 있든지 아니면 가지지 않던지 모두 포스트모던이라고 하는 과거와는 다른 환경 속에서살고 있다. 그렇다면 오늘날 설교는 과거와 얼마나 다른가? 이러한 변화된환경 속에서 어떤 설교적 가정들을 세워야 할까? 포스트모던 설교자들은 대학의 채플에서 설교할 때, 복음과 이러한 포스트모던 환경 사이에서 학생들을 그들의 설교가운데 대면하게 된다. 의심할바 없이 한국의 설교자들은 그들이 대면한 현재의 설교적 상황을 많은 준비가 되지 못한 채 맞이해 버렸다. 물론 설교가 예수 그리스도를 증거 하는교회의 증언으로써의 중요한 역할을 감당하며, 그들의 청중을 세상에 대한복음의 증언자로 파송하는데 그 역할이 있다. 그러나 설교가 처한 현 상황은, 대학을 다니는 믿음이 완전히 없는 청년들에 관한 것뿐만 아니라, 믿음으로부터 멀어지는 청년들에 대한 고님도 심각하게 해야 됨을 보여준다. 이 둘을 공통점은 기독교 메시지에 대해서 그렇게 호의적이지 않다는 것이다. 특히 포스트모던 시대의 설교는 이러한 회중의 상황과 요구에 대한 의문을 가지고 수행되어야 한다. 그리고 설교자들이 처한 과거와는 다른 상황속에서 설교적인 방법이 어떻게 달라야 되는지에 대한 고민은 요청하고 있다. 이 논문은 포스트모던 시대의 설교를 위한 설교적 방법론에 관한 세 가지주제를 다루고 있다. 그것은 설교에 있어서 귀납법적 움직임과 문제-해결구조, 그리고 이야기에 관한 것이다. 이 논문을 통해 이러한 설교적 요소들이 왜 포스트모던 시대를 사는 대학생들에게 설교할 때 왜 필요하고 사용되어야 하는지, 그리고 어떻게 사용될지에 대한 논의를 제기하고 있다.
Abstract
Christianity has discussed about missional theology, missional leadership and missional church planting. But what about missional preaching? Now we, both christians and non-christians, live within a post-modern context. If so, how should preaching look different? What homiletical assumptions should arise within this context? Post-modern preachers used to encounter students at a university chapel between the gospel and post-modern context. Without a doubt Korean preachers live in an era for which they are largely unprepared. Of course, preaching is a major form of the church’s witness to Jesus Christ, equipping the congregation for its witness to the world. However, it is deniable that today many young people at university are no longer even de-churched rather they are completely un-churched. Preaching need to be done in question by the demands of listeners. This simple fact forces preachers to consider how preaching in this context differs from preaching with a traditional homiletical method. This article suggests there major issues related to preaching at post-modern era. They are Inductive movement, problem-solution structure, narrative character in preaching. These sermonic elements need to be considered when a preacher preaches a post-modern young people.
