이 연구는 유대교 회당으로부터 추방당했던 요한공동체의 그리스도에 대한 이해를 추론해보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 요한복음서에 사용된 그리스도및 그리스도를 지칭하는 유사 용어들을 분석했다. ‘로고스’, ‘오시는 이’, ‘하나님의 아들’, ‘이스라엘의 임금’, ‘인자’, ‘그리스도’ 등의 용어들은 요한공동체 내의 다양한 그룹들을 제어하는 기능을 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 특별히 요한복음 9장의 맹인 이야기에 등장하는 ‘인자’는 맹인에게 예수가자신을 드러낼 때 언급되면서, 요한공동체의 회당 추방과 관련하여 심판자의 개념으로 사용된 것으로 추정된다. 또한 이 단락에는 ‘그리스도’가 등장하는데, 요한공동체의 회당으로부터의 추방 정황 속에서 예수에 대한 신앙고백을 위한 용어로 사용된 것으로 추정된다. 이 연구를 통하여 요한공동체가 유대교 회당과 분리되는 과정에서 그리스도와 관련된 용어들을 통하여공동체 구성원들을 제어하고, 예수가 그리스도라는 신앙 고백을 지켜내기위해 투쟁한 단면을 찾아볼 수 있다.
Abstract
This study is for deducing the Christology of Johannine community which was expelled from the Jewish synagogue. For this a few terms indicating Christ in the Gospel of John are analysed. Terms such as ‘Logos’, ‘the one who would come’, ‘the Son of God’, ‘the King of Israel’, ‘the Son of Man’, ‘Christ’ have some functions to control the various groups in the community. Especially ‘the Son of Man’ in the blind man’s story of John 9 is mentioned when Jesus show himself who he is. ‘The Son of Man’ means ‘the Judge’ in the context of the expulsion from the Jewish Synagogue. ‘Christ’ is used for the confession of faith for Jesus in the context of the expulsion. With this study we can find that in the process of separation from Jewish synagogue the Joahannine community tried to control the members of the community and struggled to protect the confession that Jesus was Christ.
