본 소고에서는 코로나19 바이러스로 인한 팬데믹 사태를 환경 문제와 연관시켜 고찰하면서, 인간의 책임을 자각하고 창조 질서를 회복하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 생태 문명으로의 전환을 촉구하고자 한다. 현재 인류가 겪고 있는 바이러스 팬데믹 사태는 우연히 발생한 것이 아니라 인간의 탐욕이 빚은 결과이다. 코로나19 바이러스와 같은 인수공통감염병이 최근 빈번하게 발생하게 된 이유는 인간의 탐욕적 자연 정복과 무분별한 확장 때문이다. 인간이 숲을 개간하고, 생태계를 파괴하면서 야생동물들의 생존을 위협한 결과 야생동물에 기생하던 바이러스가 인간에게 옮겨 오게 되었다. 바이러스 팬데믹은 인류의 건강과 생존을 위협하면서 창조 질서의 온전함을 보전하고, 생태 질서를 회복시켜야 할 책임을 일깨운다. 감염병 위기를 극복하기 위해서는 인간이 하나님이 창조하신 생태 그물망의 일부임을 자각하고, 생태계를 회복시키고 보전하기에 힘써야 한다. 이를 실천하기 위해 첫째, 창조 질서의 온전함을 회복하기 위하여 유기적 생명관을 가질 필요가 있다. 세상에 있는 모든 것은 하나로 연결되어 있으며, 우리 또한 자연계와 분리할 수 없는 존재임을 자각해야 한다. 둘째, 탄소배출을 줄이는 친환경적인 에너지 체제로 전환하고, 국제 사회와 협력해야 한다. 셋째, 동물보호 정신을 되새기고 동물들과 공생적 관계를 이루어가도록 힘써야 한다. 환경 문제는 인류와 모든 생명체의 생존과 연관된 문제여서 창조 질서의 온전함을 회복하려면, 과학기술을 책임 있게 사용하고, 생태 질서를 회복시키기 위해 힘써야 한다. 하나님의 창조 질서 안에서 생명공동체가 함께 공존하고 상생하기 위해, 생태 친화적 삶을 결단하고, 이를 실천하는 생태 문명으로 전환해야 한다.
Abstract
In this paper, I want to survey the situation of Corona 19 virus pandemic related to the environmental problem. Besides, I insist on transferring to the ecology civilization as a way to awake the human responsibility and to restore the order of creation. COVID pandemic is not the accidental happening but the result of human greed. Infectious disease results from human greed and indiscriminate expansion to destruct nature. Reckless destruction of nature by human beings such as forest development threatened the survival of the wild animals and caused zoonotic infection. Threatening our health and survival, COVID pandemic opened our eyes to preserve the integrity of creation and to restore of ecosystem. To overcome this infection crisis, we must recognize that we are just the part of ecological network God created. And we must strive for the restoration and preservation of ecosystem. To practice mentioned issues, first, we must have the organic life-view to restore the integrity of creation order. We must be conscious that everything in the world connected all together, we also are the inseperable being with nature. Second, we must transform to eco-friendly energy system and cooperate with international society. Third, we must meditate the spirit of animal welfare and endeavor symbiotic relation with animals. The environmental issues are related to human beings and all creatures’ survival, so to restore the wholeness of creation order, we must endeavor to use the scientific technology responsibly and to restore the ecological order. To coexist and to survive in the creation order of God, we must decide to live eco-friendly lives and converse to the ecology civilization.
