기독교 이해 교과목의 자리매김 - 기독교 신학의 본원적 과제

본 논문의 지향하는 과제는 기독교 이해 교과목을 기독교 신학의 본원적과제로 자리매김하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 논리적으로 추구해가기위하여 필자는 우선 기독교 이해 교과목에 대한 이해를 환기시키고자 하며,구체적으로 기독교 선교와 변증이라는 두 축에 의거하여 설명한다. 선교와변증이라는 두 축으로의 이해는 이미 기독교 이해 교과목이 기독교 신학의본원적 과제를 수행하는 중요한 과목임을 밝혀준다. 이미 전제된 기독교 신학의 본원적 과제를 성실히 수행하기 위하여 기독교 이해 교과목은 효율적으로 운영되어야 한다. 이를 위한 방안으로 필자는눈높이 교육, 교육 내용의 다변화, 현실적 사회문제를 통한 교감, 소그룹토의 활용, 학생에게 다가가는 교육 등을 제안한다. 또한 이러한 교육을 적절히 수행하기 위하여 기독교 이해 교과목 담당자들이 전임 교수이어야 함을 역설한다. 이상의 연구 결과를 수렴하며, 내용적으로 기독교 이해 교과목이 담당하는 기독교 신학의 본원적 과제를 상술함으로써 본 논문은 결론을 맺는다. 그 내용적인 본원적 과제는 복음과 문화의 문제, 일반인과의 소통 가능성연구, 기독교 신학의 피드백 탐구이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to clarify the significance and the task of the subject ‘Understanding of christianity’. In order to achieve the purpose I try to demonstrate the significance of using compulsory subject related to christianity as a mission tool and an apologetics vehicle for christianity. The article then focuses on the effective method to educate the class. Education through a compulsory subject related to christianity should be carried out with consideration for non-christian students. As concrete approaches to the above mentioned compulsory subject, I propose education with contemporary social affairs, small group discussions and individual counseling. The survey reminds us of the importance of a subject such as ‘Understanding of christianity’ and leads us consequently to the recognition that the subject is not merely a subject among others, but an authentic task of christian theology. The significant contents which characterize the subject as authentic task of the christian theology are as follows: gospel and culture, building an understandable theology and theological feedback from the young non-christian generation.
