현재 신학교육 직면한 위기는 목회자 배출에 초점을 맞춘 신학교육, 실천 과 유리된 이론 우위의 신학교육, 그리고 비효율적인 전통적 신학구조에서 비롯되었다. 전통적인 신학교육이 노정하고 있는 한계를 전반적으로 검토하 고 신학교육의 위기를 극복할 수 있는 과제와 대안을 모색하는 것을 목적으 로 삼고 있는 이 논문은 일차적으로 신학교육의 쟁점으로 거론되고 있는 신학교육의 편중화, 이론과 실천의 문제, 신학교육 구조의 비효율성을 검토 한다. 계속해서 최근에 제기되고 있는 신학교육 모형들을 살펴보고 난 이후 에 학제적 대화 및 이론과 실천의 해석학적 순환과 전통적인 신학교육 구조 의 극복을 과제와 새로운 방향으로 제시했다.
Abstract
In recent days there has been an increasing stream of criticism of the professional or traditional clerical model for theological education from a va- riety of parts. Many scholars have criticized the clerical paradigm, the theo- ry-to-practice paradigm, the fragmented structure of theological education in practice. In short, they argue that the traditional model of theological educa- tion(the four-fold structure of traditional theological education) leads to dis- connection and lack of coherence between the four major fields of theology. In addition, the traditional model is criticized recently for failing to create new subdisciplines of theology that can respond to rapid changes in the church and society. Considering the limits of traditional model of the tradi- tional model, this article explores the recent discussion about theological ed- ucation and the root of problems of the traditional model. Also, this article proposes some alternatives in order to attend to those problems of theo- logical education.
