비평의 미래 －성찰적 비평의 가능성에 대한 일고찰－

Abstract

Recently, the journalistic traits of criticism has strengthened. Criticism has lost its status and meaning. It is the reason why we are entering a new era without reflection by globalism. The existing criterion which made criticism to evaluate has been not useful any more in this era, but there is not a new criterion here. The role of criticism which to valuate and evaluate texts(societies, the world) does not do the job and such situation is related to be defunctionalization of its criterion. Therefore I undermined the status of criticism as a meta-working for literature at first in the historical contexts and then examined the problematics of contemporary criticism and estimated the future of criticism. Specifically, I argued that the relationships between literature and society have a critical influence on the criticism as a meta-working for the texts in the field of reorganization of its status/role during the pre and post 2000s and 1970s. I examined the effects of reorganization/shift of existing status on the field of criticism by historical contextualization of the problematics of contemporary criticism. That effects showed the necessity of shift the form and quality of criticism from now on. A a result, I inspected the shifting of contemporary criticism by from a ‘critic-intellectual’ to a ‘critic-writer’. Finally I argued comtemporary criticism ought to deal with the fundamental critical issue on the textual world closely connected with the real world and human beyond the ‘analytic reading’ texts.
