<역대전리가>와 형성기의 가사문학 고(考)
A Study of <Yeokdaejeonriga> and Gasa Literature at the Formative Period

I have divided the construction of <Yeokdaejeonriga(歷代轉理歌)> into four meaning groups and explicated them again according to the groups, and then I have examined the format of <Seungwonga(僧元歌)>, <Seowangga(西往歌)>, and <Yeokdaejeonriga> which are the Gasa (the old form of Korean poetry) of the early period, and have found out that the structure of the early period Gasa was composed of two (or three) phrases in a line. I have also discovered that Naong(懶翁) and Shin(申), the writers of the early period Gasa, were born in the same district Yeongdeok(寧德) through the words of the Yeongnam(嶺南) Dialect in the Gasa. After comparing and reviewing the records of <Yeokdaejeonriga> in Hwahaesajeon(華海師全) and Yejuserok(禮州世錄), I have summarized the different words in a chart.
