The latter lived in japan, the center of imperial, and they had imagination about korean and their life. The aims of this article is to explain of these japanese writer's representation of korea/korean. If they owned everything and were very powerful, they had no representation about korean. Meanwhile, if they did not succeed in japan, they wanted to take root in korea, so they thought of korea as their home. But they couldn't understand korean's mind, feeling, and customs. The other japanese writer group, living in japan, regarded korean as the same speech community, because they thought that japanese and korean were eastern nation groups sharing a common destiny, against the Western. But if they considered 'Tokyo' was the western culture's stronghold, they represented korea, making up japan's deficiency.
