제국을 향한 모델 마이너리티(model minority)의 자기 고백－고려인 디아스포라 문학의 특징강진구본 논문은 고려인 한글문학을 제국의 중심으로 나아가고자 욕망했던 ‘모델 마이너리티의 자기 고백’이란 측면에서 살피는 것이다. 이러한 작업은 고려인 디아스포라의 욕망이 어떻게 억압되고 변용되어 왔는지를 살피는 동시에 고려인 디아스포라의 정체성(identity)을 탐구하는 것이기도 하다. 스탈린의 강제이주(deportation)는 고려인(Korean-Russian)들에게 민족 전멸攀 민족 자체가 없어질 지도 모른다는 것.攀攀이란 공포로 다가온다. 고려인들은 이 공포를 극복하고 성공한 소수자로 성장하여 김세일의 ≪홍범도≫와 한진의 <공포>와 같은 작품을 남긴다. 고려인 디아스포라 문학의 특징을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고려인 문인들은 홍범도와 김알렉싼드라와 같은 영웅적인 인물을 통해 항일무장투쟁과 러시아 혁명(내전)기간 동안 영웅적으로 투쟁했던 과거 자신들의 역사와 전통을 현재적으로 의미화 한다. 둘째, 중앙아시아 현지인들과의 우애를 유독 강조하는 한편, 이른바 당과 인민에 대한 충성을 맹세하는 문학을 창작한다.셋째, 소련 붕괴 이후 잃어버린 민족정체성의 회복과 새로운 가능성을 보여준다는 점이다.
Abstract
The Self-confession of the Model Minority－Focusing on the Characteristics of Korean-Russian LiteratureKang Jin GooThe purpose of this paper is to consider a self-confession of a model minority who had a desire to make Korean-Russian Literature be placed on the mainstream of the 'Empire's literature'. This attempt is to ponder over how the desires of Korean-Russian were suppressed and altered, and to explore the identity of Korean-Russian. The deportation policy of Stalin caused Korean-Russian to fear 'the annihilation of the nation'. They overcame this fear and grew to be a successful minority. For example, Kim, Se Il and Han Jin wrote "Hong Bum Do" and "Fear", respectively. The Characteristics of Korean-Russian Literature are as following. First, Korean-Russian writers revived their struggling history and tradition, during the period of the anti-Japanese fight and the Russian Revolution, based upon heroic Characters such as Hong, Bum Do and Alexandra KIm. Second, they wrote novels in which they focused on the friendship with the natives in the Central Asia exclusively and, at the same time, they pledged loyalties to the party and the people. Third and last, the works showed new possibilities and the recovery of the lost national identity since the fall of Russia.In conclusion, we can find out Korean-Russian's desire to live fairly and squarely among the natives, the majority, as an Russian, even though they are emigrants.
