다문화 인식과 실천을 강화하기 위한 초등 도덕과 교육과정 연구

오늘날 초등학교 교사는 학생들에게 다문화에 대한 올바른 인식을 교육할 시기에 놓여 있다. 우리 사회가 다문화 사회로 진행되기 때문에, 학생들은 문화 인식에 있어서 개방적이며 상대주의적 인식을 배워 나가야 한다. 이러한 다문화의 상황에서 더불어 사는 방안이 도덕과 교육과정에 전개되어 있다. 도덕과 교육과정은 다문화 교육에서의 다양한 범주(dimensions)와 광범한 개념에 대한 올바른 이해가 설정되어 있다. 앞으로의 전개될 도덕과 교육과정은 다문화 교육의 기본적 내용인 내용 통합(content integration), 지식 구성 과정(knowledge construction process), 편견 감소(prejudice reduction), 평등 교육(an equity pedagogy) 등을 포함하는 다문화에 대한 다양한 접근을 강화해야 한다. 교사는 도덕과 교육을 통하여 다문화적 현상을 올바르게 파악하여, 학생들에게 다문화 사회에서 벌어지는 문제에 대한 해결을 시도하는 방안을 배워야 한다. 또한 학생들은 도덕과 교육과정이 담고 있는 다문화 교육에 대한 지식, 감정, 상호 이해의 실천을 학습하게 될 것이다.
Abstract
Today it is time for elementary school teachers to educate that students can become a multicultual members at heart. So, teachers have to get through harmful effect that head off students' open & relativist cognition. It is creative method for moral education to extend cultural diversity by overcoming multicultual society problems in Korea. In this situation, moral education must seek for doing multicultual education in detailed method of life. Moral education have to notice that extensive idea of multicultual education have special dimensional facts. Moral Education that is containing of multicultual education have extensive idea of content integration, knowledge construction process, prejudice reduction, an equity pedagogy, etc. In this way, Moral Education could bring a critical development by solving multicultual problem in korea with moral learning & studying curriculum.
