연구의 목적은 초등 도덕과 교육에서 널리 활용되고 있는 도덕 토론 수업 모형들의 특징을 소개하고, 모형들의 유사점과 차이점을 분석하여 학생들의 도덕판단력을 향상시키는 활용 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 도덕 토론과 직접적으로 관련이 있는 가치갈등해결, 합리적 의사결정, 가치분석, 콜버그식의 도덕적 토론 수업 모형의 이론적 배경, 목표 및 특징, 수업모형 단계, 타모형과의 차별성, 공통점을 분석한 후, 초등 도덕과 교사용 지도서에서 제시하고 있는 수업 절차와 연계지도할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 도덕 토론 수업 모형들의 활용 방안으로는 모듈별 활용, 교사용 지도서의 개편, 온라인 수업 활용으로 나뉘어 제시하였다. 마지막으로 교육대학교와 교사 연수 기관에서 교사의 도덕 토론 관련 수업 능력을 향상시키기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to introduce the characteristics of moral discussion instruction models widely used in elementary moral education and to suggest ways to improve students' moral judgment by analyzing similarities and differences of models. The study is composed of analysis of the theoretical background, goals, characteristics, model stages, the differences and similarities of the moral discussion instruction models: moral conflict, rational decision making, value analysis, and the Kohlbergian moral dilemma discussion. For the use of moral discussion class models, module use, teacher's guide book reform, and online classroom use are suggested. Lastly, the researcher suggests a way to improve teachers' ability of teaching moral discussion in teacher training institute and the universities of education.
