지역의 생활문화유산을 활용한 초등학교 도덕과 수업 방법에 관한 연구

지역사회는 초등학생들의 일상적 삶이 이루어지는 공간이다. 전통사회에서 지역사회는 학생들을 위한 도덕적 공간으로서 역할을 하였지만, 근대화 이후에는 그 역할이 축소･변질되고 있다. 도덕적 공간으로서 역할을 회복하려면 지역사회가 제도적인 차원에서 할 수 있는 시스템 구축과 동시에 학생들이 자발적인 관심과 참여가 가능한 공간이 되어야 한다. 학생들은 단순히 보호의 대상이 아닌 지역사회 구성원이기 때문이다. 도덕과 교육 차원에서도 학생들 스스로 지역사회의 구성원임을 자각 할 수 있는 방안, 자발적인 참여 기회 제공, 지역 정체성 형성 및 지역 역사의 전승자로서 삶의 의미를 모색할 수 있는 방법 등을 모색해야 한다. 특히 지역구성원으로서 자각과 참여경험의 의미화를 위한 방법에 관심을 가져야 한다. 이에 우리는 지역사회에 편재해 있는 생활문화 유산을 활용하여서 지역사회의 구성원임을 자각하고 참여, 참여경험의 과정에서 가치와 의미를 발견할 수 있는 수업 방법과 실제를 고찰하였다.
Abstract
A community is a place where students live their daily lives. In traditional societies, local communities have played a role as moral spaces for students who are local members, but it’s role has been reduced or altered after the modernization. In order to restore the role as a moral space, it is necessary to establish an institutional system of local community, and to provide voluntary interest and participation of the students who are the members of the community. This is because students and the community have a mutual relationship. In terms of morality and education, students should be aware of the fact that they are members of the community, actively participate in local community, and be aware of their role as a transferee of the local living cultural heritage. It is because participation in this process ultimately contributes to moral growth. We seek to find ways to help students live moral life through experience of living cultural heritage in local community. The purpose of this study is to examine the concept, characteristics, and moral values of local living cultural heritage in local community and to practice of elementary school moral education
