본 연구의 목적은 교실에서 학습자를 이해하기 위해 개인차 변인으로서 문화를 고려하고, 또 학습자들이 문화적으로 동등하게 교육받을 수 있는 문화반응교수법에 대해 탐색해 보는 것이다. 교실과 사회에서 편견 없는 시민의식을 갖추기 위해서 교원양성기관부터 예비교사들에게 문화적 소양과 지식을 넓힐 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 초등 도덕과 수업에서 문화반응교수법(CRT)을 적용한 교수-학습 과정 안을 제시하면서, 이것이 기존 교수-학습과정안과 어떠한 차이점과 의미를 갖는지 밝혀보았다. 이를 통해 교사가 교수설계 측면에서 어떠한 문화적 균형을 지녀야 하는지를 보여주는 것이기도 하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore culture as an individual difference variable to understand the learners in the classrooms, and to apply culturally responsive teaching(CRT). In order to have unbiased sense of citizenship in classrooms and society, the teacher training institutes seek to expand cultural literacy and knowledge for pre-service teachers. This research was suggested course of teaching-learning process using CRT in elementary moral education, and to clarify the differences between existing teaching-learning design and teaching-learning design to adjust CRT. It also shows how teachers should maintain a cultural balance in instructional design.
