증거기반 교육(Evidence-Based Practice)의 도덕교육 적용을 위한 비판적 고찰: 미국의 증거기반 교육 사례를 중심으로

본 연구는 의료분야에서 시작된 증거기반 교육(Evidence-Based Practice)을 도덕교육에 적용하기 위한 방법을 탐색한다. 증거기반 교육이 교육에 적용되기 위한 특성과 과정을 확인한다. 특히, 미국 교육부의 교육과학연구소(Institute of Education Science)에서 제시하고 있는 증거기반 교육 프로그램을 분석하여 증거기반 도덕교육의 가능성을 살펴본다. 실제적인 결과가 확인되는 교육을 제시하는 증거기반 교육의 구성과 방법이 도덕교육에도 적용될 수 있는 가능성을 밝힘으로써 학교현장에서 실행되는 도덕교육의 효과, 성과를 중심으로 하는 증거기반 교육의 방향을 제시하였다. 증거기반 도덕교육은 도덕교육의 한 방법으로서 시도할 필요가 있으며, 학생들의 행동수정, 학교폭력 등과 관련된 내용을 교육할 때에 미국 증거기반 교육 사례를 통해 이를 실현할 수 있는 가능성을 확인했다.
Abstract
This study explores methods for applying evidence-based education in the medical field to moral education. Identify characteristics and processes for evidence-based education to be applied to education. In particular, we examine the evidence-based education program presented by the US Department of Education's Institute of Education Science to examine the possibility of evidence-based moral education. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that the composition and method of evidence-based education that show the actual results can be applied to moral education. Respectively. Evidence-based education needs to be tried as a method of moral education. The case of US evidence-based education is useful for educating students about behavior modification and school violence.
