인문학 교육 기반 통일교육 모형 연구: 철학적 탐구공동체의 관점을 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 놀이나 이벤트 위주의 통일교육, 사고나 숙고가 미흡한 통일교육의 단점을 극복하기 위한 하나의 접근으로 인문학교육에 기반한 통일교육을 제안하고자 하였다. 특히 철학적 탐구공동체 접근을 활용한 통일교육 모형을 구상하여 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 통일교육에서 인문학과 인문학교육이 갖는 의미를 살펴보고, 인문학교육의 한 유형인 소크라테스-세계시민 모델에 주목하였다. 아울러 인문학교육의 하나의 방법론이라 할 수 있는 철학적 탐구공동체에 대해 고찰하고, 통일교육에서 이러한 방법론을 활용할 경우 얻을 수 있는 장점을 살펴보았다. 그리고 이러한 논의를 토대로 인문학교육 기반 통일교육 모형으로서 이야기 활용 학습모형, 철학적 탐구 공동체 기반 프로젝트학습 모형, 철학적 탐구공동체 기반 현장체험학습 모형을 개발하여 제시하였다.

Abstract

This study was intended to propose unification education based on humanities education as one approach to overcome the disadvantages of unification education focused on play or events, and lack of thinking. In particular, this paper aimed to devise and present a model for unification education using a philosophical inquiry community approach. To this end, this study firstly looked at the meaning of humanities and humanities education in unification education, and especially focused on the Socrates-World Citizenship Model as a type of humanities education. Second, this study examined the philosophical inquiry community that can be called a methodology of humanities education, and looked at the advantages that can be obtained by using this methodology in unification education. Finally, based on these discussions, this paper develops and presents a learning model using stories, a project learning model based on philosophical inquiry community, and a field experience learning model based on philosophical inquiry community.
