본 연구는 중국 정부가 인터넷 금융시장에 개입한 이후 전체적인 플랫폼과 유형별플랫폼의 효율성을 어떻게 변화하는지에 대해 DEA 방법으로 효율성을 측정하고자 한다. 플랫폼의 등록자금, 운영 기간, 만표시간을 효율성 분석의 투입변수로, 플랫폼의거래량, 대출자수, 투자자수를 산출변수로 지정하고 있다. 등록제 실시 2018년 이후를대상으로 분석한 결과, P2P플랫폼의 효율성이 여전히 낮게 나타났고, 이에 약 3/4 정도인 플랫폼은 상대적 무효나 비효율적이다. 순수기술효율성(BCC모형)의 평균치는0.512로 분석되었으며 규모의 효율성은 0.67로 분석되었다. 이는 35.7%의 순수기술비효율성과 19.9%의 규모비효율성이 존재함에 따라 기술비효율성에 영향을 미친 것으로나타났고, 기술비효율성의 주원인으로는 순수기술효율성에 있다고 판단된다. 그리고2018년 4월 기준으로 2019년 2월까지 측정된 중국 P2P인터넷대출플랫폼의 규모수익에서 수익감소형인 플랫폼의 수량이 증가하고 수익증가형인 플랫폼의 수량이 감소함에따라 플랫폼의 운영수익이 점점 어려워지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 유형별 플랫폼의효율성 결과는 국유자본플랫폼의 효율성이 가장 낮은 것으로, 민영자본플랫폼이 가장높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 운영비용이나 고객확보비용의 확대 또는 투자자수규모와대출자수규모의 감소로 인해 플랫폼의 수익에 영향을 미치는 것을 판단할 수 있다.
Abstract
After the Chinese government intervened in the network financial market, the efficiency changes of China’s online lending platform were measured and analyzed by DEA method. The registered capital and operation period of the platform are taken as input variables, while the trading volume, loan number and investment number of the platform are taken as output variables. The data of 2018 after the implementation of registration system are analyzed. The analysis results show that the efficiency of P2P platform is still low, and about 3/4 of the platforms are relatively ineffective or ineffective. The average value of pure technical efficiency (BCC model) is 0.512, and the efficiency of scale is 0.67. According to the survey, 35.7% pure technical efficiency and 19.9% scale inefficiency have an impact on technical inefficiency. The main reason for technical efficiency is pure technical efficiency. Moreover, with April 2018 as the benchmark, the number of platforms with reduced returns to scale of China’s P2P lending platform in February 2019. As the number of platforms with decreased returns to scale, the operating revenue of the platform became more and more difficult.
