협업역량 향상을 위한 대학 비교과 학습공동체 지원체제모형 개발

초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 협업역량을 향상시키고, 협력학습을 촉진하기 위해 대학 비교과 교육과정 맥락에서 학습공동체 프로그램 설계자 또는 운영자가 활용할 수 있는 지원체제로서 일반적 지원전략 및 구체적 지원전략을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 협업역량 구성요소와 비교과 교육과정 특성을 바탕으로 학습공동체 촉진조건 관련 선행문헌을 포괄적으로 검토하고, 학습자 요구를 종합하여 지원전략을 도출하였다. 또한 공동체의 발전단계 관련 선행연구를 바탕으로 비교과 학습공동체 지원 단계를 도출하였으며, 대학 학습자지원 관련 선행연구를 바탕으로 학습자 지원영역을 도출하여 협업역량 향상을 위한 대학 비교과 학습공동체 지원체제 초안을 개발하였다. 이후 두 차례의 전문가 검토를 통해 내적 타당화가 이루어졌으며, 개발된 지원체제를 적용한 학습공동체 프로그램에서 참여 학습자의 협업역량 사전사후 검사, 시기별 지원전략에 따른 협력학습 도움 정도, 학습프로그램 만족도를 통해 외적 타당화가 이루어졌다. 그 결과, 7가지의 일반적 지원전략이 도출되었으며, 학습공동체 지원 단계로 정체성 형성기, 자원․활동 개발기, 학습문화 조성기, 협업미션 수행기, 성찰기의 다섯 단계에 따라 분류되었다. 또한 다섯 단계에 걸쳐 도출된 45가지의 구체적 지원전략은 학습자 지원영역인 인지적, 정의적, 조직적 영역에 따라 분류하여 최종적인 지원체제가 개발되었다. 본 연구결과로 마련된 학습공동체 지원체제모형은 대학 교수학습개발프로그램 설계․운영자들이 비교과 학습공동체에 참여하는 학생들의 협업역량을 향상시키기 위하여 언제, 어떻게 개입해야 하는지 학습공동체의 발전단계인 다섯 단계에 따라 인지적, 정의적, 조직적 영역별로 살필 수 있도록 구체적인 지침을 제공한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a learning community support system model by the stages of team development to improve college students’ teamwork competency. For this purpose, first, previous studies related to teamwork, learning communities, cooperative learning, group dynamics, and learner support systems were comprehensively reviewed. In addition, the learning support system elements were derived by analyzing learners needs. Second, according to the stage of team development reached, a support period that can support the learning community effectively was derived. Third, a support area was derived to support learners in various ways. Fourth, an initial learning community support system was developed, and two rounds of expert Delphi were conducted to verify the internal validity of the first draft of the support system model. Fifth, the results of a student survey were followed to verify the external validity of the learning community program to which the developed support system was applied. As a result, seven general support strategies for each period, and 45 specific support strategies for each area were derived. Practitioners in college would be expected to utilize the learning community support system model suggested by this study as a holistic reference offering clear guidelines as to when and how to intervene in each period to improve students’ teamwork competency.
