중국 통번역전공 자격(수준) 시험(CATTI)은 중국에서 가치가 가장 높은 10대 자격증 중의 하나로 인정받고 있으며, 영어⋅일본어⋅프랑스어⋅러시아어⋅독일어⋅스페인어⋅아랍어 등 7개 국제 통용어에 이어 2020년에 첫 비통용어로서의 한국어 통번역시험이 실시되었다. CATTI 한국어 통번역시험 응시자들이 날로 늘어나지만 시험 관련 교재 외에는 시험 준비에 참고할 만한 자료가 별로 없다. 특히 통번역시험 준비에 필요한 중한 이중 언어사전 편찬 작업이 절실하다. 본고는 중국 내 중한․한중 사전편찬 현황을 살펴보고 CATTI 한국어 통번역자격 시험을 위한 중한 이중 언어사전의 사전학적 유형 특징을 분석하고 그에 따르는 사전 구조의 기술방식에 대하여 논의하였다.
Abstract
China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI) is recognized as one of the 10 most valuable qualification certificates in China. Following 7 commonly used international languages – including English, Japanese, French, Russian, German, Spanish, and Arabic – the Korean translation and interpretation test was first administered in 2020 as the first non-commonly used language test. Although the number of candidates for the CATTI Korean Translation and Interpretation Test is increasing day by day, there are few reference materials available for exam preparation other than test-related textbooks. In particular, the compilation of a Chinese-Korean bilingual dictionary, which is essential for preparing for the translation and interpretation test, is urgently needed., This paper examines the current status of Chinese-Korean and Korean-Chinese dictionary compilation in China, analyzes the lexicographical type characteristics of a Chinese-Korean bilingual dictionary for the CATTI Korean Translation and Interpretation Qualification Test, and discusses the corresponding technical methods for dictionary structure.
