본 논문의 목적은 초등음악에서 동료 수업컨설팅에 대한 초등교사의 경험과 인식을 파악하는데 있다. 음악수업 능력이 검증된 8명의 초등교사들의 음악수업에 대한 동료 수업컨설팅을 하나의 경계를 가진 사례로 선정하고, 이 사례 자체에 초점을 두어 초등음악수업의 상황에서 이들이 가지고 있는 수업컨설팅에 대한 인식과, 동료 수업컨설팅에 대한 경험과 시각을 파악하였다. 질적 사례 연구방법을 적용하여 인터뷰, 관찰, 연구 참여자의 수업 분석지를 통해 데이터를 수집하고 심층 분석하였다. 연구결과, 연구 참여자들의 동료 수업컨설팅에 대한 경험은 다양한 관점으로 최선의 해결방안을 찾아가는 과정, 수업 공개를 통한 상호 협력적 공유와 성찰, 수업 개선을 위한 실제적 전문성의 계발의 세 가지 주제를 확인하였다. 연구결과를 종합해 볼 때, 동료 수업컨설팅은 컨설티 교사와 컨설턴트 교사 간의 수평적 관계에서 교사의 문제의식과 요구를 다양한 관점에서 상호 협력적으로 성찰하고 수업 개선을 위한 실제적 전문성을 계발하는데 도움을 주었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine elementary school teachers' experience and perception on peer instructional consulting in music. Peer consulting on music lesson which was conducted by eight elementary school teachers whose musical ability has been verified were selected as a case with bounded system. The case itself was focused to identify their perception of instructional consulting and their experience and perspective of peer instructional consulting in the context of elementary music class. The qualitative case study method was utilized to collect data from interview, observation, and participants written reflections, and to analyze them in depth. As a result, three themes were identified: the process of finding the best solution from various perspectives, mutual sharing and reflection through open class, and the development of expertise for improving music lesson. Based on these findings, peer instructional consulting helped to reflect the teacher's needs and problem identification on his or her music lesson mutually from various perspectives in the relationship between consultee teacher and consultant teacher, and ultimately to develop practical expertise for improving music lesson.
