Abstract
Our preliminary studies of the Generating Process of Scientific Emotion(GPSE) in the generating process of biological hypothesis have revealed that the types of GPSE, and their patterns of brian activation imply specific neural networks in the brain. Thus, the purpose of this study was to develop neurocognitive models for explaining the GPSE in the generating process of biological hypothesis. The type of GPSE classified into 4 types of a Basic Generating Process(BGP), a Retrospective Generating Process(RGP), a Cognitive Generating Process(CGP) and an Attributive Generating Process(AGP) through the integrated protocol analysis. Based on the previous study results, neurocognitive models of BGP, RGP, CGP and AGP were developed through processing modeling method. Such models of GPSE would be a foundation in mapping out of biological teaching-learning strategy capable of generating scientific emotion such as an interest, and be of help to an actual brain-based learning.
