본 논문의 연구목적은 30주년을 맞이하는 시점에서 한국과 중국, 양국 간의 외교관계를 심화하고 발전시키기 위한 초안으로서 양국 외교에 대한 양상을 진단해 보며, 그에 따른 양국 외교관계를 진전시키기 위한 활성화 방안을 살펴보는 것이다. 연구방법은 문헌분석을 하였으며, 주요내용은 한중 양국은 한반도 안정과 평화유지를 위해 협력하고 있으나 사드문제 이후 갈등양상을 보이고 있다. 연구결과로서 활성화 방안으로는 공공외교 및 국민참여형 외교전략을 추구하며, 북한과 주변4강을 뛰어 넘을 수 있는 새로운 외교적 큰 틀과 시각을 담아낼 필요가 있다는 점이다. 동북아지역을 넘어 국제체제 속에서 상생할 수 있는 동반자로서 한국과 중국, 양국 관계 발전을 위해 공동이익을 확대하고 차이와 갈등을 협력적 방식으로 해결해 나가야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to diagnose aspects of bilateral diplomacy as a draft to deepen and develop diplomatic relations between Korea, China, and the two countries at the time of its 30th anniversary, and to examine ways to promote diplomatic relations between the two countries. The research method was literature analysis, and the main content is that the two countries of Korea and China cooperate to stabilize the Korean Peninsula and maintain peace, but they have been showing signs of conflict since the THAAD issue. As a result of the study, it is necessary to pursue public diplomacy and public-participating diplomatic strategies and to capture a new diplomatic framework and perspective that can surpass North Korea and the surrounding semifinals. As a partner who can coexist in the international system beyond the Northeast Asian region, it is necessary to expand joint interests and resolve differences and conflicts in a cooperative manner for the development of relations between Korea, China and the two countries.
