자녀의 부모화와 심리적 강인성이 대인관계에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 자녀들의 부모화된 정도와 심리적 강인성에 따라 대인관계에서 느끼는 감정과 대인관계능력이 어떻게 달라지는 지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 알아보기 위해 부모화 척도, 심리적 강인성 척도, 대인감정 척도, 대인관계능력 척도, 생활사건 척도를 서울 및 경기 소재의 274명의 대학생에게 실시하였다. 이 때 부모화와 심리적 강인성의 순수한 효과를 알아보기 위해 생활스트레스 정도를 통제하여 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 부모화 고집단은 저집단에 비해 대인감정의 불안/난감 하위요인만 유의미하게 높았다. 심리적 강인성 고집단은 저집단에 비해 대인감정의 부정적 감정 하위요인들은 낮고, 긍정적 감정 하위요인들과 대인관계능력의 각 하위요인이 높았다. 부모화와 심리적 강인성의 상호작용은 대인관계능력의 개방성 하위요인에서 보였다. 본 연구의 의의는 부모화된 자녀의 대인관계에서의 내현적 경험을 밝혀 이를 심리치료에 활용하도록 제언했다는 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine how the children’s interpersonal feeling and the interpersonal relation can be changed depending on the degree of the parentification and the hardiness. For this purpose, PQ-A, HS, Interpersonal Feeling Inventory, Relationship Change Scale and LES methods were applied to 274 undergraduate students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The ANCOVA was used by controlling the degree of life stress, to find out the real effect of parentification and hardiness. As a result, compared to the low parentification group, only the sub-factors of anxiety/embarrassment in interpersonal relations were significantly higher in the high parentification group. The high hardiness group has lower sub-factors of negative feeling in interpersonal relations than the low hardiness group, but the sub-factors of positive feeling and each sub-factor of interpersonal abilities were higher. The interaction between parentification and hardiness was showed in the sub-factor of openness in the interpersonal ability. The significance of this study is that it was suggested to reveal the implicit experiences of the parentified child in interpersonal relation and use them for psychological therapy.
